about Dr. Davis

I am a clinical psychologist licensed in Michigan and in 41 states for Telehealth, and I specialize in treating pediatric and adult anxiety disorders.

I received my M.A. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Suffolk University in Boston, MA. I completed my predoctoral internship at University of Rochester Medical Center, specializing in working with children, adolescents and families. I then completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Anxiety Disorders Center/Center for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy at the Institute of Living, and continued to work there as a Staff Psychologist for 8 years. Currently, I split my time between Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital and my private practice.

Throughout my career I have been actively involved in a range of research projects, which inform my clinical work. Recent research studies I have been involved in include: Brief CBT for Panic Disorder; Development and Factor Analysis of the Screener for Academic Distress; Investigation of the Canary Breathing System for Treating the Symptoms of Panic Disorder; Neural Mechanisms of CBT Response in Compulsive Hoarding; SPRITES: Sertraline Pediatric Registry for the Evaluation of Safety; and A Pilot Study of Contingency Management in Hoarding Disorder. I have also served as a consultant for Michigan Medicine/University of Michigan on the TRAILS (Transforming Research into Action to Improve the Lives of Students) project.
